AMRIV1983 2 #1 Posted June 16, 2010 Guys, I am in the process of finding my First Wheel horse tractor, and have seen where guys are noting about Series II Kohler. big mike 13 #2 Posted June 16, 2010 If you mean the Kohler KT engines the series II is a good motor.The series I does not have full pressurized oiling system and has been known to have issues.As long as a series I is healthy and is taken care of they are good motors but if they need rebuilt some parts are no longer available.
