Iggy68 28 #1 Posted June 14, 2010 So my buddies neighborhood had one of those community yard sales Saturday. I was over there doing some remodel work on his garage. We had a car hauler and a few things sitting in the yard for sale while we were working. Along comes an older gentleman that we know from the "hood". He sees us working and asks if we would travel 125 miles to do some work on a new place he bought up in the mountains, but that is another story. My 953 is sitting in the garage with the sprayer hooked to it and he asks how much for the tractor? I was still coherant enough to blurt out $4200 and it is all yours. I really didn't want to sell it of course. The guy walks all around the thing and asks, "where is the mower deck?" Quick thinking I say in Indiana. He walks around the machine one more time and says if you had the deck here he would buy it. I do not have a mower deck for it.
