520HC with 42 RD deck??

Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has run a 42 inch rear discharge deck on a 520 with the wider 10.50 turf tires on the back? I am looking for anyone who can confirm it can be done, not if you think it can be. I need to know asap as I may be selling 1 or 2 of my workers and need to hvae a backup plan to use the 520. I do not have a 48 inch deck for it. Thanks-

Yupper it can be done!!!! I had two RD here still have one on my sons tractor, he swears by it! I wish I wouldn't have sold the other one, I want to use it as a brush mower in the woods.

Thanks Randy. I assume there are no clearance issues like on the 42 side discharge deck hitting the back wheels??

I have a 95 520H and a 42" Recycler Mower w/10:50 tires on rear, there isn't any clearence issues. I hope this helps...

Thanks guys. I have my answer !! I think that 42 rd with the recycler gives the best cut and eliminates any need to rake leaves !!
