brider 0 #1 Posted June 10, 2010 The guy I bought my Charger 10 from had a barn FULL of WH tractors, but the coolest ones I saw were a few of the GT 14 models. Man, were they formidable-looking! What was their intended function? Looked too big for suburban use, were they for small farms, or commercial use? Were they hydro drive? Could you put a 42-ish inch deck on one, or is it made for a larger deck? Sure would like one...
fireman 1,022 #2 Posted June 10, 2010 These were "Big Boys". They had a 48" deck and a 54" plow blade as options. Also was offered with a Category "0" 3 point hitch. These are hydrostatic drive with an electric clutch and hydraulic lift for the attachments. The gas tank holds 6 Gallons!
brider 0 #3 Posted June 10, 2010 Would one be overkill for a 1-acre suburban (hilly, some wet/swampy areas, log pulling, etc) property?

brider 0 #8 Posted June 12, 2010 There was at least 4 GT 14's that I saw. Might have been more. But he had MANY more WH's in his barn to sell. Story: An old friend from their (he and his wife) church took ill and then died, and he left a barn full of WH tractors. The barn eventually collapsed, so this guy donated space in HIS barn to store them while the living son could spend time dialing each one in to sell. I bought my Charger 10 from him, the son went thru it from stem to stern before he's sell. Same story with the others, he said the GT's would be up for sale, but the son had to "go thru" them first. I told him to cal me when a GT was ready.
