starting problem

Need help guys first i need to to jump the solenoid to turn motor over and then there is no spark to the plug any help is appreciated i am not as you can see very good with electrical but can follow instructions thanks just picked this machine up and would like to get it going

What model and year is it? May have a safety switch preventing form starting and that would also prevent a spark.

WH nut

Id look at the PTO swicth also since it doesnt crank, Better yet, check your fuses first, make sure the fuse holder isnt all corroded

It is a 312-8 classic. I believe is a mid 90's model. it has been sitting a while. We need to get a test light and see if the key switch is any good.
