customman 0 #1 Posted May 30, 2010 hello all, i just bought a 257-H and i've been pulling my hair out trying to find one, anyone know where to get one besides toro?
Fiddlestix 0 #2 Posted May 30, 2010 The manuals are available from Toro use your model number 21-17KE01 or 21-17KE02 (depending on what year you have). The Owner's manual and Parts manual are purchase items while the Eaton and Kawasaki manual are free for download. Go to Toro.com, click on HOMEOWNER tab, select MANUALS from the choice at middle of page, enter the above model number. Take it from there. Or go to a local Toro dealer. Fiddlestix 0 #7 Posted May 30, 2010 OK...as best as I can do I would say got to the TORO MASTER PARTS VIEWER and then enter the model number. When it loads go to "View Assembly Drawings". When that page loads, Click on "Decals, Miscellaneous". You will find a part number for the owners manual in the following list. Toro online still doesn't offer it rather states to procure from local dealer. At least you would have a part number. As you can tell, it is nearly pointless to buy a parts manual when theses online parts viewers are available. Good luck with it! :D
Buzz 502 #8 Posted May 30, 2010 i did that and toro says no manuels avalible try another model number. Try calling their toll free number. Sometimes they have the manual even though the computer says they don't. If they do it will be a photo copy marked "best copy available". Good luck.....
