417-8 Transmission

I have a Wheelhorse 417-8 that the gear shift leaver pulls out of the transmission case. Can anyoue give me some information as to how to repair this? Can complete new transmissions be purchased and if they can who sells them. I could also use a parts break down if available. Thanks.

Hello and There is a little set screw that holds shifter in,located at where shifter ball sets in trans,easy fix,Rick

Set screw bottoms into hole on front side of shifter ball, just snug up enough that shifter movement does not get too tight,then tighten jam nut, Rick

Just so you don't think the set screw is broken off, it actually takes a small Allen wrench to loosen/tighten it.
