Im looking at a 66 856 with a recently rebuilt k181 and a snow blade, the kid wants 300 and i was wondering if that would be a good deal? i really only want the motor. :D

Without a picture it's hard to tell, and it also depends on where you are in the US. For that machine, 300 would be good in the north-east and eastern PA if the refresh/restore was well done. Sounds fair to me given the info you provided.

i have this exact machine and love it. simple little tractor that is perfect for my needs.

i have the blade, blower, trailer and mower deck for mine. great little machine. if you ask me $300 for a good running machine with a blade is a good price. id bite on it.
