I have a 1100 with a 11 hp briggs. I restored it and it is a fine tractor. Look at my restore on it and you will see how it turned out I am setting on it on my profile picture. I gave a 100.oo for it wihen I bought it. Good Luck

I have the bigger brother, the 1600, and it is a fine tractor. Some say not as heavy as a red horse, but it sure has done well, being 26 years old, and going strong. I have just as much confidence in it as I do any other horse I have now, or have owned. Price? The cheaper, the better! Prices being wild these days, you have to decide what you are willing to spend first, set your sights on what model you want, and then wait it out. Sooner or later, you will come across it. Me, I am waiting for a 314 or 414.

I have the 1642, same tractor that you're looking at, just a bigger motor. As far as maneuvering and ease of use, I would say this one beats out my other tractors. You can see a pic of mine in my profile picture. Granted it doesn't have all the bells and whistles the other horses have, but it will do everything else most of the other ones will, with a few exceptions.

Good luck.
