need help with transmission

hello, my wheel horse 1045 transmission is having some troubles. every once and a while it wont kick into gear and sometimes when it gets into gear i will let off the clutch and it will be froze and the belt will squeel. does anyone know wats wrong with it or how to fix it? thx david

Time to crack the 'ole 5045 transmission case. You've got pieces-parts floating around in there. Something is broke inside and jamming the gears. Only way to find out and fix it is to do a little exploratory surgery, before you damage the innards further. Have fun!
