Motion Control Lever

Hello all. I recently purchased a Wheel Horse 1993 314-H with a little over 250 hours. It has been very well maintained, but I have a question concerning the Motion Control Lever. Whenever I put the lever in

Easy fix. Lift the seat and tighten the friction washer a little bit at a time until you're happy.
