kj4kicks 154 #1 Posted March 20, 2008 HERE'S THE LINK ebay # 120235782644 I want this bad ! Could be a nice one for Karl. I have already emailed the seller about palletizing it for shipping. Anybody near Stover, MO that has ALOT of room coming to the show?
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,589 #2 Posted March 20, 2008 Stover is just north of the Lake of the Ozards, about 150 miles from me. Frank (Bowtieguy) is not too far from there and he's going to the show, but is flying I believe. That's a nice package, though. It would be a shame if he parts it out . I hope you can work something out Eldon.
nylyon-(Admin) 7,850 #3 Posted March 20, 2008 That is an incredible collection, well above my tractor budget, but it sure does have everything doesn't it, and it's the right year too! It seems that just the attachments are probably close to the buy it now price.
CasualObserver 3,410 #4 Posted March 20, 2008  I'd imagine that deal won't wait long! If I still lived in IL... that would be worth the drive. that BIN is pretty low in my opinion. What's crazier... is he probably paid half that at whatever auction he was at!
Jim_M 179 #5 Posted March 20, 2008 That's Rick Volieski, he's the guy that bought all of my D-Series stuff last fall. He has a brother or friend (can't remember which) that lives in Indy. You might be able to work a deal with him on getting it to Indy. Maybe somebody closer to Indy could get it to the show for you. He's a pretty nice guy and pretty easy to deal with. That's one heck of a deal on that package, in my opinion.
Rollerman 290 #6 Posted March 20, 2008 I was looking that over on ebay this morning thinking of Karl & also thinking thats a lot of stuff for the "BIN"....then later signed logged in here at the Square & see more minds think alike. That is a bit of a haul down there though...maybe like Jim says his brother/friend will help out?
nylyon-(Admin) 7,850 #7 Posted March 21, 2008 Congratulations on your BIG haul Eldon!

kj4kicks 154 #13 Posted March 21, 2008 OK guys, you caught me !! Didn't work out all of the hauling details yet, so any help would be appreciated. Rick says he has a guy that hauls stuff for him, and he'll get his # for me tonight. I told him I really didn't need the Brinley plow, and he said he would knock $100 off the price. Is that fair? It turns out that I bought some NOS Sundstrand parts from him not long ago. You guys were right, he's great to work with! Now Coach Karl.... I bought this specifically with you in mind. I promise not to lay hands on the tractor if you want it "as-is". I'll email you with some ideas.... BTW, love the new av. Thanks again guys.... you're the bestest !! combatmp29r 27 #14 Posted March 21, 2008 Eldon if we can some how get it around Indy like Jim said I know we can get it to PA. I was planning on leaving room on the trailer to bring the 76 160 back this way, so I could bring it up. Can't get it from MO to indy though sorry
Kelly 1,033 #16 Posted March 21, 2008 That would be nice to have with all the goodys looks like it was sanded for paint?
kj4kicks 154 #17 Posted March 22, 2008 ROAD TRIP !! Looks like I'm going to pick it up myself. I have an order (50's furniture that I sell) at Vitro in St Louis that will be ready the first week of April, so I can pick that up along the way. That will save me freight on that order! Looks like I'll be going through Indy, so if anyone around there has an extra couch for the night, let me know. Of course, that includes a lengthy WH BS session! Rollerman 290 #18 Posted March 22, 2008 Glad it worked out for you Eldon..well sort of...still a long, long drive for you? Maybe check with Ken & visit on the way through...maybe if you ask nice or bribe the dog he'll let you take the Super C for a spin?
kj4kicks 154 #19 Posted March 22, 2008 Looks like it's just shy of 1000 miles each way. Just for the record, I'm taking the good old '71 Ford and the enclosed trailer.
Greg B. 1 #20 Posted March 22, 2008 Those bump sides are sure pretty trucks. Can't wait until my 69 looks that nice. Mine has the Ranger package, too. Just that much more work to do. Greg B.
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,589 #21 Posted March 22, 2008 Eldon, That sounds great. I was really seriously thinking your offer. But it sounds like you got a control of it. Stover is about, roughly 190 miles one way, from St. Louis, depending on where in the St. Louis area you're going. Maybe we can get together when you're in St. Louis. kj4kicks 154 #22 Posted March 22, 2008 T MO, that sounds good. Vitro is only a few blocks from the stadium, and within sight of the arch. How far are you from there? It will be during the week, so I won't be in a big rush. Can't wait to finally meet some of you guys!
T-Mo-(Moderator) 4,589 #23 Posted March 22, 2008 Eldon, I live about 60 miles south of downtown St. Louis. But I work near the airport. Maybe we can meet anyways, the airport is a few miles from downtown area. What week are you planning on going? Maybe we can pm or email to see what the schedule is like.
