C-Series14 15 #2 Posted May 14, 2010 First off, welcome. Second, the VIN is actually 11-16k801, that is important to look up info on the various websites with parts diagrams or manuals. The tractor is a 1984. The 4080, if on the bottom line, is the build date. 4=1984 and 080 is the julian day.
Duff 206 #3 Posted May 14, 2010 Jereco, yours is a 1984. Good solid machine. For drawings and parts lists go to: https://lookup3.toro.com/partdex/index.cfm?xCaller=Toro and enter 11-16K801 (the dash is significant). ! Glad to have you among us! (Looks like Mike beat me to it!) :USA:
Steven M Griggs 0 #5 Posted February 19, 2014 I just bought the same Wheel Horse 11-16K801. It's real nice. Needs some paint touch up in 2 spots and a decal. It's got 200 hours on the engine. It came with a separate motor and vacume-mulcher set-up with a bag that mounts to the back. I'd like to sell this system or trade for a dozer-snow plow. Can I still cut grass without this attachment? Do I need a deflector to mount on the cutting deck if I cut without the vacume-mulcher? Steve
whfan74 2,071 #6 Posted February 19, 2014 A deflector is nice to have but not mandatory. You don't need the vacuum kit to mow.....sounds like you got yourself a nice low hour machine. I would suggest scrolling down the forum and putting an ad in the trades section and let others know where you are at. Enjoy your new Horse!
