hi everyone, i just got my 1056 i'm gonna restore it. it's in great shape and runs perfectly, except for charging system. i wonder where i can get the right color paint?

Glad to have you aboard. As far as the color for your project, there is a LOT of discussion here on that very subject. I do know that the Internation Red seems to be very popular and avery close match. I mayself took a piece that was not exposed to the sun and abuse and had the local dupont store scan it and custom mix my color to match. Im sure if you search the Restore section you can find more input.

Lots use Valspar IH Red. That's International Harvester Red and I believe that the intent was to come close to that color. I find it at Tractor Supply Corp. and Blaines Farm and Fleet. ai can order it at Doit Best Hardware. I've been using Valspar "Tractor and Implement" paint on the belief that it is more durable than what you might get at an auto paint store.
