Doubletrouble 10 #1 Posted May 4, 2010 I purchased a c-111 from dw1973 in the RS for sale forum and picked her up this past sunday. I finally have 2, kinda. My 13 yr old daughter is now the very proud owner of a 1979 c-111. I bought it for her to fix up since she likes to hi-jack my '71 work horse and mow the grass. She had her new toy in the garage and pulling it apart almost before I put the truck in park. I will post pics in the near future to show some of her progress. We met dw1973 and he was nice enough to open his barn and share some of the other nice machines he has. We talked for awhile and my daughter sat on his '56 (I think) 550. ( thanks dave, now she wants one of those too!) We had a good time and fun father/daughter trip. It was nice meeting someone else that understands the draw of these little machines. I look forward to meeting up with Dave and others from RS in the future. Only problem now is, her c-111 is bigger than my work horse 800. I need to get another bigger tractor for myself. stevasaurus 23,279 #3 Posted May 4, 2010 Bill, great story and it is always nice to meet the members. You may want to check out the tractor show in Charlott, Mi. in August. We should have well over 100 horses there and quite a few members also. :D
Raider12 13 #4 Posted May 4, 2010 That is great you can have something like that together. My daughter is 12 and she likes to mower every now and then. But she makes fun of me for having more than one tractor. I just tell her Im buying them with her college fund and I am out of money can I barrow some? Good memories there my friend............ Good memories
