boovuc 1,090 #1 Posted May 1, 2010 Hi Guys, I took my C-175 to a local dealer who dealt WheelHorse in the past. This tractor has been acting up for a year or two. You smell like a diesl mechanic after running it. Most times you needed to run it with the choke open. New plugs, air cleaner, gas filter, points condensor. The whole shabang. I took it to the old dealer to have them rebuild the carb. Got it back and it sat a month before I changed out the oil and put the mower on it. At first it was fine......then...........it would loose power like it was running lean, then come back. I'd go over a bump or let the clutch out strong and it would spit and sputter then come back. After it got really warmed up, it just ran like crap. I stopped and did a re-tune of the hi/low idle screws and it was running great on the driveway sitting still. When I engaged the mower and ran it, it started again before just quiting! Turns out I then needed to run it in full choke!? My guess is the float! Please give me a second third and fourth opinion please! I'm taking it back! It worked before I had them do it. It needs corrected! PS.....I really smelled like a diesl mechanic after that ride! Thanks, Boovuc Mill Hall, PA
