CasualObserver 3,411 #4 Posted April 28, 2010 What wiring diagram are you using? The 653 was originally a Tecumseh 6hp tractor... which requires a different schematic than a K-181 Kohler. If you have the Kohler, and need to wire it up, try using the diagram for the either the 753 or the 854 depending on what starter switch setup you are using.
