rakpak 0 #1 Posted April 28, 2010 Was able to get a great deal on another ZMaster. My 315 was spared the certain fate of becoming a mower.

rakpak 0 #3 Posted April 28, 2010 Thanks Rick. I was going to sell the 315 before I would put a deck on it. Its a sickness isn't it. LOL
DoctorHfuhruhurr 137 #4 Posted April 28, 2010 Does the Zero turn have front brakes on the caster type wheels? A guy on tedbrakes.com (no affiliation) invented some after someone he knew died from a flip over on a hill into a pond.
rakpak 0 #5 Posted April 28, 2010 No brakes on the caster wheels, I had 2 ponds at my other place, I always kept the deck on the upside going up the banks. I know I don't like mowing around ponds period.
stevasaurus 23,279 #6 Posted April 28, 2010 Very nice looking machines. :omg:
rakpak 0 #7 Posted April 28, 2010 Thanks Steve. I looked at those tedbrakes, that is a great idea. My last place was 11 acres of wooded hillside, those would have come in handy a few times. Its amazing that the weight of the deck will pull you down a hill if you don't keep the front headed up the hill.
tgranthamfd 29 #8 Posted April 28, 2010 Nice machines, did you put bigger tires on the back of the 315 and what year model is it?
rakpak 0 #9 Posted April 28, 2010 Its a 2007 Anniversay. Its actually, from what I can find out, the third from the last of the Anniversary models. Ser# ends with 423. Those are the factory wheels.

HankB 16 #15 Posted April 29, 2010 Thanks Rick. I was going to sell the 315 before I would put a deck on it. Its a sickness isn't it. LOL OK, I'll bite. What's so bad about putting a deck on a classic (like my ten year older 314-H?)
rakpak 0 #16 Posted April 29, 2010 Nothing bad about putting a deck on a 315, but I bought this one because they don't make them any more. I had a 314 at one time with a deck.
