The snow blade can be made to work but isnt right for the 63 ranger

the snow blower like the blade will but will have to be changer and the after that too big for the 63 ranger or lack of power

So the deck will work, but not the snow blower with some fab'n. I'd rather have the blower over a blade, not enough to the tractor to push snow.

I plowed my driveway from 1970 until the early 1990s with my 1968 Lawn Ranger and there were only a couple of storms that it couldn't handle. Of course the three record snowfalls we had here in NJ would hasve stopped it cold :omg: If the plow and the snow thrower were the ones made for the Lawn Rangers you would be better off using the plow. With only a 6hp engine and a 3-speed transmission you would have a hard time keeping your engine rpms high enough to throw the snow and your ground speed slow enough to keep it from clogging. I had that problem with my 856. That's just my two cents worth............ Keep the change. :D

The motor is pretty torquey for what it is, but never had a tractor or used one with a snowblower, only walk behind ones, can only wonder what this one would do.

As for speed, this thing is SLOW!! I'd think 1st gear would be enough to keep some forward motion but slow enough to throw some snow.

Since this thing isn't original, I'm toying with the idea of putting a bigger motor on it so I could put a blower on....
