FarmerJim 5 #1 Posted April 28, 2010 I have a 312-H here and all of a sudden while cutting grass it started blowing black smoke and running rough. I took the air cleaner off and found gas dribbling out.This is the Magnum 12. Maybe stuck float . my question is does anyone know the number for the carb rebuild kit? it has adjustable jets. My local dealer website shows only new carb @$225.00 I find it strange no rebuild kit number or am I about to get the shock of my life???? Thanks in advance! I pulled the carb off after work tonite, checked float-seems ok. pulled everything out that I could and flooded with carb cleaner and took the air hose to it. After reassembly, hit key and it took right off, no black smoke, wife was able to finish mowing before weekend full of rain.
