Ken B 3,189 #27 Posted April 24, 2010 I worked on the trailer late last night and sprayed it today. Much better now.
stevebo-(Moderator) 8,532 #28 Posted April 24, 2010 Ken, Dad and i stopped by the house this morning and the mustang was sitting outside The trailer looks great. I like the "T" shaped handle in front for your son to hold onto.
Ken B 3,189 #29 Posted April 24, 2010 Darn I must have just missed you. I had to run down to my Pops house too pick something up. I'm going to try to find a decent round hood and a dummy steering wheel and try to rig it up on the trailer. If I can't find anything I'm going to go with the T handle idea. I saw that idea at a show once, pretty cool.
stevasaurus 23,279 #30 Posted April 24, 2010 Fabulous work Ken. I really like your pull cart. What did you use for the axle?
Ken B 3,189 #31 Posted April 24, 2010 The tow trailer is from an old Gravely walk behind. You hooked the trailer to the Gravely. It was always meant to be a sit down trailer, factory built.
Ken B 3,189 #33 Posted April 29, 2010 Here is RJ # 2. Not mint or 100% original but its not bad for a back yard hack.

Ken B 3,189 #37 Posted April 29, 2010 Need some opinion's. I'm considering painting the Wheel Horse lettering on the hood of the RJ with the black rims. Here's what I'm thinking. A. Leave them red and let sleeping dog's lie. B. Paint them silver. C. Paint them black. Paint them white. I'm sure black or silver was never an option, total originality isn't a huge concern of mine. I think on the RJ with white rims, white lettering is a no brainer if I decide too paint them.
Ken B 3,189 #38 Posted April 30, 2010 Well, I went ahead and painted the lettering on RJ #2. I'm still on the fence about what to do with the lettering on #1. It did make the front of the tractor pop a little.
HankB 16 #39 Posted April 30, 2010 I'm still on the fence about what to do with the lettering on #1. Black. :omg:
