Wheel Horse Fan 3 #1 Posted April 22, 2010 Ok I would like to find a model number for the blade shown below. It has a curved or bent handle and the C-175 it came with has the older style rear axle brackets. I looked through a bunch of threads during my searching and read through "...plow the long and short of it" There is a picture of the same blade I have but no model number. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! The dirtier, rustier one in front.
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #2 Posted April 23, 2010 It looks a lot like a BD-426 to me.
Wheel Horse Fan 3 #3 Posted April 23, 2010 It looks a lot like a BD-426 to me. That model number appears to be a short frame plow no? According to the diagram on Toro.com it only has the two cross braces where mine has the three.
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #4 Posted April 24, 2010 The IPL drawing @ Toro is only a representation and isn't exactly correct. The BD-426 was a long frame blade and was replaced by the 6-1111 model. They were built for use on the 1046/1056/1076/1276/1077/1277/1067/1267/Raider/Charger/Electro/Bronco (etc.) models. The BD-4267, etc. (6-2111) is the short frame version with only two crossmembers in the A frame:
