d 160 deck and 1276 deck

Hi! I have a D-160 that I purchased 6 months ago or so and am wanting to put a deck under it to mow with. The one I have isn't in the best of shape, but I have a pretty decent one off of my restored 1276. And all the other decks I have are about shot... Will the 1276 deck work without too many modifications under the d-160? I do have all the bracketry and such just am unsure if this is a worthwhile approach or should I just find a different deck to use? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just put a deck off of a 1975 C100 on my 1267. The only thing I had to change was the mule drive system. I had to put a ftont Tach a matic on the tractor to use the mule drive off the "75", and it takes a shorter belt. I think you would have to change the hanger brkt system to get the earlier deck to work on the D. But anything is possible if you want to take the time to do it.

I would save your 1276 deck and get a 48" attach a matic deck that will hook right up with a D attach bar,Rick
