rmaynard 16,297 #2 Posted April 20, 2010 Just remember that we are a friendly forum who's members usually welcome a newbie by saying "we are here to help you". Firemart is looking for help. Once he gets all the info he needs, then maybe he will become one of us who is here to help others. I would sooner see someone asking a lot of questions about Wheel Horses rather than those who would only post jokes all the time. Just my 2 cents worth. firemart 0 #4 Posted April 20, 2010 First of all, I want to thank all of you who are answering my questions and addressing my concerns. Secondly, I'm sorry if I am offending you in some way. I just assumed that part of the experience of owning an old Horse, would be to learn from experienced owners. If ya'll don't want me here, asking questions, I can take a hint. I think he's worried about getting the grass mowed before it is up to his chin. I think his wife if giving him a hard time! :D
Wilsonrl48747 0 #10 Posted April 20, 2010 Firemart, I was kinda lost in the beginning too, especially until I figured out how to search the ENTIRE forum. At least on my computer, the default is set to search only for results that have been entered in the last 30 days or newer. I figured something was wrong with the search engine when I would put in a search phrase like oil type and then get only 3 posts listed. Once I figured out to open it up to ANY DATE, I realized how much good information is out here. To change the settings on the search parameters, you need to scroll down a little to the seach options section, and over to the right is the refine search area. You may want to tell it to search ALL the forums, (because some stuff gets posted in the wrong areas) and then select ALL DATES so you can see all the topics that apply to your search. This will get you lots and lots of stuff to look through, but your chances of finding something that apply are much better that way. I included a screen shot of the search options section. Enjoy the C-120! I love mine. Attached Image (Click thumbnail to expand)
