You can fix a problem by troubleshooting or guessing.

Which method do you want to use to fix this problem?

You could always use the old Army Motor Pool approach.

Truck won't start...

Replace batteries

Still won't start

replace starter motor

Still won't start

replace solenoid

still won't start

replace switch

still won't start

Turn the da*n thing in...

My thought you can trust your mother but you can never trust your ground!!

Clean your battery cable terminals and teh ground connection to the frame.

Do you have a multi meter???

We are going to need a little more info - as Paul asked - do you have any tools to troubleshoot electrical issues , meters, test lights, etc.

The talent here varies greatly and we don't want to overrun a "non-mechanic" with too much info, but we do need to know what you tasks your comfortable with. Sometimes the best ( least expensive ) advice you can give someone is "take it to the shop"

Let us know what your level of expertise is.

An now for my motivational poster of the week .....

I don't know how you tested the battery for voltage. You can test for 12 volts but with out a load tester it still may not have enough power to start. Try jumping it with another good battery.

you said no lights, thats why I said check the batt. do you have any fuse off the batt?

The next thing would be the ing. switch.
