Had most of the Horses out today...

Recommended Posts

I was shuffling some stuff around today and before I knew it, I had most of the runners out. I figured it would be a good time to get the rest of them out.

Very nice collection, I really like the round hoods :omg: The 1045 has a great look with the round fenders, I hope to add a 1045 to my collection.

I really like the look of your tractors! My favorites are the 401 and the one you called a 502 diesel that says 604 on it. There are alot of tires in that line-up!

Can somebody please explain the differences between these models to a newbie? I am assuming the first number refers to horsepower. Are the chassis and hoods basically the same?

Very nice herd you have there.

I would also like to know the differences between different WH models. There are sooooo many different models.

Like for instance, the difference between a 414-8 that I have and a 314-8.

Again, nice horses

Thanks guys, I could explain most of the older models... but it would take awhile. Basically (on the older models) the first number is the horsepower, the second number designates electric start or recoil start (0 bening recoil, 5 being electric) and the last digit is the year. For example 502 (5 horsepower, actually had a 5.5... 0 recoil start.... 2, 1962.

There were several "oddball" numbers though... like 701...702 (had electric start), 633 (was recoil, but the recoil start model number was taken by the 603....

This is just a basic idea. Hang around awhile, do some research and you'll have it figured out in no time.

My trailer will hold 5, but I will probably only bring 3. Gotta leave room to bring at least one back... :omg:

Jon-

First all those dual wheels are SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET!!!! I've been hooked on doing the same since we spoke at last years WH show. Got an extra pair of turf savers and just have to get to getting the spacer kit.

Second, nice to see someone else who relies on a 753 as a work horse. For 47s years old, they still hold their own and never let you down.

Looking forward to seeing some of those horses at the show. :omg:
