defed 0 #9 Posted April 19, 2010 Rick, what size lumber did you use for your tractor storage shelf? i always tend to over engineer that type of thing, so if i find out what is working for you, might save me a little in material costs. i will only be putting round hoods on mine, so probably less weight that you have on yours. what did you use for the 'beam' across the front (ex. double 2x10), how many posts (span in between) and then what for floor joists (2x10)? thanks. Iggy68 28 #17 Posted April 20, 2010 Rick, Always a pleasure to view pics of your horses! Looks like a little project going on in the background, new decks and siding? I also more reasons to come visit and help put that new barn up. Fish for a few hours in the morning, work in the middle of the day, then back on the lake in the evening for more fishing. I can prefab all the walls and get the trusses built for that barn addition :D
