Buzz 502 #5 Posted April 16, 2010 Here's a handy belt interchange that will cross reference Wheel Horse to Gates or NAPA: http://www.gates.com/part_interchange/inde...ocation_id=3286

GlenPettit 1,718 #7 Posted April 16, 2010 Wheel Horse used 'Agricultural' belts, they were made by Gates just for Wheel Horse/TORO; and had a slightly different side-angle, base-width, thickness and composition, and will always have the Wheel Horse Belt numbers stamped into the belt (I believe all WH belts since mid-60's are still available, being made). For belts that are in constant high-speed and heat-producing use, the Wheel Horse belts are well worth the 10-20% higher cost, the "life" of the WH belt may be double or more than other brands. Ag belts will use #'s like HA, HB, HC, instead of conventional belts #'s of A, B, C. Belts always fail in the middle of the job.
