barns1 57 #1 Posted April 14, 2010 I've been trying to get my 1975 C160 8 speed started. When I purchased it it had been partially restored. It will turn over if I jump the solenoid, but not when turning the key. Checked the wiring harness for correct hookup and appears to be by the wiring diagram. I'm thinking it is one of the safety switches. I would like to get the part numbers to be able to purchase them. Thanks. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Tim 97 #2 Posted April 14, 2010 had the same problem this weekend with a 314, ended up being a bad connection on the ignition switch. wire brushed the pins on the switch and it was good to go this also happend before on a C141 and the PTO switch was stuck.
