A couple questions about my "new" 520-HC

Are the gauges supposed to be back-lit?

Why does it have a vacuum gauge?

Was this supposed to have taillights, or just reflectors?

What is the diameter of the 60" deck gauge wheels, the ones that are on there seem HUGE!!!!

No to back lit, from what I remember

Vaccum, because I think the fuel pump is vaccum (not sure)

Yes it should have taillights

I think the vacuum guage just give the operator an indicator of how much load is on the engine. In later years, the vacuum guage was replaced with a "Power" guage which is the same thing with a different face.

Yes, the deck wheels are huge. I will try to measure mine for you today.

All the gauges have lights inside, you can get at them from the backside. Yup on taillights , you should have them.
