pbuckler 0 #1 Posted April 13, 2010 I've got Wheel Horse fever and I am convinced that I need one! I would really like a tractor that I could use to till and/or plow my garden. So I need help with a few things so I know what model(s) to look for: What model will power a tiller? I would like hydraulics to help raise and lower the tiller, what models have hydraulics? I am a noob so I really appreciate the help!
Confused99 2 #2 Posted April 13, 2010 Add what area you are located in. That will help line you up with someone local. Jason

Raider12 13 #8 Posted April 13, 2010 like Coadster32 said, you wont stop at one! Yea, they are like a Lay's Potato Chip. You can't have just one. (Or a dozen..... or two....) I started with a 1963 model 753 and then my Raider12. And so on and so on. Sold my 753 before is was cool to have :D

dgjks6 8 #12 Posted April 13, 2010 They are all great tractors. I have a thing for the maroon stripe type tractors. If you are looking for a hydro in these do not worry about horse power. The lowest hp in a hydro is 12 hp woud should be enough. I would look for 312h or 314h Or a 416h You could get a 520h - there are always a ton around. It depends how much you want to spend. I prefer the kohlers - cheaper for parts - but the onans are great also.
