dgoyette 12 #1 Posted April 12, 2010 I have a JBJR that was to a Craftsman and was thinking of buying the mount so I could put it on the 314-8. Was wondering if anyone has used the JBJR on a WH. I already know the JBJR itself is stout but was wondering about the mounting set up. It looks like the acutator is used under the tractor to acheive the lift and appears from the JBJR website to not leave a lot of ground clearane. Anyone have one? JoeMonag 1 #6 Posted April 17, 2010 I have had a JBjr on my 310-8 for the past two years, it was made for the wheel horse brand, I'm sure John could get you the modified brackets to fit onthe Wheel Horse. It is a back saving tool. Joe in Norton

My question to you is - what do you think of it in terms of quality, fit and finish, and durability? Also, did you get the manual set-up or the one with the electric actuators? Thanks! KC9KAS 4,744 #8 Posted April 18, 2010 From the price options I saw on the JB link, you could buy a good used FEL and have a more usable piece of equipment!
dgoyette 12 #9 Posted May 12, 2010 Well I did end up keeping the JBJR and ordering the mounts I needed to make it work on the Tach-o-matic system. I used the bucket a lot on the Craftsman I used to have and really liked the bucket because it is perfect for small jobs and very maneuverable. The FEL on the D is great and the JBJR is in no way an equal substitute but for many small things the D is just too big. So I kept it because I know I would miss it and regret selling it if I did. Here are some pics of it on the 314-8. I just got it set up and still need to work the wiring a bit but used it briefly to moved a bit of gravel. Just need to clean up the wiring a bit and put on some wheel weights and should be good to go! I also have the tooth bar which I used to break up dirt and then scoop it away.
