Two Clintons being rebuilt

Recommended Posts

clintonnut

Today we sandblasted the blocks and polished the ports as well as clean any flashing off the blocks. I wish I had before pictures of them but here's what I currently have for pictures:

Pile of odds and ends to be blasted:

:thanks: you are doing fine work on those engines :D:thumbs: I had an 18 inch lawn mower that had a 2 cycle engine Clinton. Had to mix 30 weight oil with the gas in those days, (late 50s).

Got Jeff's engine running today. Steve's is almost there. Both will be running and ready for the show before NOON tomorrow. Jeff's runs great and just needs a little more carb tweaking but was broken in and started on the 2nd pull.

Just an update. Charlie and his dad Paul delivered the two engine to Steve and I at the show. Let me tell you if you ever need a Clinton Engine rebuilt, these are the guys to see. They are first class, top notch all the way. My engine runs fantastic. Here are before and after pictures:

Thanks guys, you are the best

Great job!! That looks awesome. I seen John's (Wallfish's) Clinton that Charlie and his dad did last year. This is just the same. Very consistant work. Thumbs up all the way. :D

I will have to agree and say Charlie and Paul are top notch. Without there help I wouldn't have been able to rebiuld my Clintons.
