Kohler K90/91 with gear reduction

Do you have to replace the crank to use a Kohler K90/91 with a gear reduction on an RJ? I found nice K91 but it has a gear reduction on it.

Its sad too because I find gear reduction K-90,91's all the time. Most in great shape.
