c-120 hydro gave up

iwas pulling logs from the woods and the hydro gave out it will hardly move on flat ground can any one tell me if i can make a simple diagnossis or if i can put a standard trans in this tractor if so which one can i use :omg:

You need to check it out deeper---a catastrophic failure without some type of loud noise makes me think something simple is broke---I.E.---one of the hubs is spinning on the axle, the belt is slipping, the keyway on the pump pulley broke, the motion lever linkage fell apart or loosened up and is WAY out of adjustment. Take a look and let us know what you find, and yes it is possible to put an 8 speed in the tractor if worse comes to worse.
