Clinton 1200 motor serial numbers

Anyone know the ser# to year of Mfg. for Clinton 1200 motors? I would like to know the serial number range for late 54 and early 55 1200 100 series motors.

Just use the serial off your current engine. There was so much variation in the years of engine models that there is no pattern to date. DW and I would like everybody's model number of 1955 RJ's equipped with a Clinton. Most will probably be around the 1200-100 series.

I know of a 124, I have a 128 on my RJ-58

1956 tractors used a 2184.

1955 tractors used I think a 100 series number.

Anyone who has a 55 with a Clinton please give us the model number.

I have an early 55 cable steer with a clinton 1200 152, and a late 55/early 56 with a 1200 2184. Hope this helps! :omg:
