clintonnut 126 #1 Posted March 25, 2010 Today I fabbed one of the lift arm clevis ends for the three point since I couldn't get the original off. Mounted the 3pt and installed the tiller. Let the tiller go about 8 inches down and it was chuckin' the dirt! I also took the cab off. I love the 3pt. Here's everybody's wish, PICTURES! Operator 7 #3 Posted March 26, 2010 Looks good Charlie! More fun in the dirt than snow huh? How wide is the tiller? Randy
rockbuilt 7 #4 Posted March 26, 2010 I tried to get one of those but someone out e-bayed me I would still like to get my hands on one if you have an extra laying around Nice looking rig you have there :D
clintonnut 126 #5 Posted March 26, 2010 I paid $230 for it with the 3pt. I'm not sure if I will sell it at the show or not. Charlie
Olratlr 25 #7 Posted March 26, 2010 It is doing a good job. :omg:
Gerry w 2 #8 Posted March 27, 2010 Looks great Charlie! Does that tiller hook up "directly" to the back of your horse? So the shaft isn't exposed? And WHAT is that "thing" shown in the back of your pic next to the trucks??? Gerry P.S. I hooked up the recoil you gave Kathy and I to her Ranger, it works great, thank you! Lawn Ranger kid 14 #10 Posted March 28, 2010 Nice tractor! Josh
clintonnut 126 #11 Posted March 28, 2010 The driveshaft for the tiller is completly enclosed in a pivoting coupler. You take the 3 nuts out of the PTO cover and hook the 3pt arms up and put the nuts back on the tractor after you slide the 70lb coupler on. Gerry. What THING are you talking about? I see lots of things . Are you talking about my cummins truck or that giant seeder? It is amazing that Gutbrod and Wheel Horse went through the effort to ship tractors over here as well as the now plow, rototiller, replacement parts, etc. No wonder everything is discontinued. Gerry w 2 #12 Posted March 28, 2010 Must be that ginormous seeder!! They don't make them like that here in Vermont!! 70lb coupler??? OUCH!!! That's more fun then the belt to PTO attachment for the snow blower!! Looking real good Charlie, thanks for the reply. :omg:
clintonnut 126 #13 Posted March 28, 2010 The seeder belongs to a guy in Penn State but he doesn't currently have the ambition of hiring somebody to haul a 20ft wide seeder on a semi. I think it is a 24 row corn seeder. I think it's sitting on a hay wagon that is begging for mercy. Charlie

Charlie Have the same tiller but I need the PTO Coupler for a D250. Any ideas of where to get one? Thanks in advance
clintonnut 126 #15 Posted March 29, 2010 So you need the 3 bolt flange? I'm guessing you need it from the 3 bolt flange to the slip coupler. Charlie
Sean's Dream 0 #16 Posted March 29, 2010 So you need the 3 bolt flange? I'm guessing you need it from the 3 bolt flange to the slip coupler. Charlie Need the 3 bolt flange and the PTO shaft/coupler. I just have the tiller.
clintonnut 126 #17 Posted March 29, 2010 A couple guys might have what you need. Ask the D250 genius named Larry. He has many parts and could help you out. Also ask baerpath. D250 stuff is sometimes pretty pricy. Just a warning. Rockbuilt, how high can your tractor lift the tiller off the ground? Mine only lifts about 2 inches from the ground. Help me please! I don't like it rubbing against the pavement over bumps or tearing up the grass when I drive it. Charlie

Charlie I think you misread my post I don't have a tiller for mine I missed out on it by a better e-bayer but I think I can help with that Try to adjust the top link to gain lift, you may have to adjust it before and after travel if you cant get enough depth for tilling I don't know for sure but it looks like you have a long link for the center point link you may want to shorten that if it is not original. remember if you get too frustrated I will take it off your hands hope this helps
