Sticky-back rubber diamond "plate" 12"x12" is available at Harbor Freight

stores for $3 plus change, enough for one horse's running boards.

The polished plate looks sharp. I prefer the rubber version, much better traction when wet. My opinion/experience.

I guess they won't be on there much if I think of it.

ditto on what others have said - very, very slippery and a definite safety issue when wet.

Sounds like wearing a tuxedo to plow the fields. Man, you do look sharp for the first few times, but your are always worrying about getting the tux dirty, so not much work gets done and eventually the tux looks like crap anyway.

Am I missing out on something wearing my Carharts out to the lower 40 ?

I can't see how it would be slippery with the dimand plaiting.

HIGHLY polished wet aluminum ?? Not slippery ?? No handrails to grab onto as you PIVOT your entire weight at an angle on the ball of one foot ?? :omg:

I'm not sure about scratched dimand plaiting - but highly polished diamond plate - oh yeah!
