I have run both the sizes and personally never noticed any difference in performance..I guess if you got all technical about it then yes there would be a difference depending what you will be doing..The wider tires would be a little more stable on hills ect..Float on mud dirt better but in snow I believe a narrower tire would be better..But like I said...I have run both and for just general use there was not much if any difference..
