barns1 57 #1 Posted March 20, 2010 Hey All, Just picked up a 1988 414-8. Is it normal for the front wheels to be pointed out from each other? Looks like their out of alignment. I have a 1986 414-8 and when I got it, the front wheels were the same way. I got new adjustable tie rods for it and solved the problem. It just seems like this would wear the tires and cause it to drive funny. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Gary :omg:

barns1 57 #3 Posted March 20, 2010 Thanks Rick. I just couldn't see it being designed that way. I think I'll get some new spindles and tie rods, that way everything will be new. It's in really great shape for the year. I guess it deserves it, heck any Wheel Horse deserves it! How's everything going with you? Looks like your collection keeps growing. I'm going to have to get down there and see all of them sometime, maybe in May. Thanks again. Gary :omg:
