Just a little update on the tri-cycle tractor work this weekend, actually only today. I started sandblasting the hood and welding cracks and extra drilled holes shut.

TricycleHood.jpg

I also got the 8hp motor all taken apart after finding oil that looked like peanut butter and the oil dip stick gone. I took the motor apart and apparently the dip stick broke off and fell into the motor while running and broke the oil slinger off the bottom of the connecting rod. I have a whole rebuild kit on order and should recieve it tuesday. I also have decals on order with the decal wizard too...

Hope to get some filler on the hood this week and some primer. There is alot of little dings and a dent in the top.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks guys... I haven't got much done here lately... I picked up what I think is a 654 or 604 because it don't have a battery box and the hood is plain junk no motor or seat. The wife has been wanting a pink wheel horse for herself and I'm ok with it. She was in the garage today for a couple hours takin her new old horse apart. She already has a restored lawn ranger but wants a pink tractor thanks to jusjeepn... Thanks Pat... LOL

But here are a couple recent pics...

New decals from the decal wizard...

I got most of the motor together today and hope to get it fired very soon...

Thanks for the comments!

Well between picking up limbs in the yard today and sawing some new grass where there were bare spots I got the 8hp motor together. I was hoping to get her running but haven't done that yet. Just another picture of the project.

Well the weekend has went really well so far. Today I hooked up the coil and a auxillary fuel tank because my welded gas tank LEAKS... Installed the starter / generator and she fired up... Here is a short video of it... I have not yet painted the hood because I'm affraid it wont look as good as I want it to finished... Wife said I'm to picky and I'm the only one that will notice...

Brrly1 - I'm one step closer to having her done.
