Are mower deck mandrels rebuildable?

Any one try rebuilding the mandrels on their decks? Are parts hard to come buy? I hate to overhaul a deck and not touch the mandrels. But at $90 a pop I sure don't wanna buy new ones. Thanks.

I`m rebuilding all three on my deck for under $100.00 . But I did get lucky with three new shafts on ebay for $39.00 that I really needed. If your shafts are reuseable the bearing and seals will cost you about $40.00 not that bad and should be replaced. Good luck and post some pictures.

PS. still waiting for the new bearings and seals.

faster your bottom pic on the right looks like those are new bearings. I'd be happy to rebuild all 3 for $100. Where did you order your parts from?
