ezeastside 93 #1 Posted March 14, 2010 HI guys, Is there any available spread sheets out there that can help identify these tractors. For instance I find a tractor model 417-8 and I want to look it up on the toro viewer so I can familiarize myself with it before I go to look at it. Also confusing questions I hear talk about Garden tractor and just tractor. What are the differences and what are the advantages? I guess I got bitten by the bug and will be adding to my herd pretty quick and I will definitely post pictures Thanks
C-Series14 15 #2 Posted March 14, 2010 Try this site. There are several others also so others will chime in. http://cnr12533.tripod.com/ A "Lawn Mower" is a basic grass cutting machine. A "Lawn Tractor" can mow and pull trailers, lawn sweepers, etc. A "Garden Tractor" can mow, pull equipment, and use ground engaging equipment... That is not out of the dictionary but just a basic answer. Others will get more involved with the correct terminology! B)
