Ken B 3,189 #1 Posted March 12, 2010 It amazing really, I've been playing with garden tractors for more than 25 yrs. now and I've always wanted a nut roaster. I never seemed to be in the right place at the right time. Well, within the past week I've landed two! Today's RJ came from Stevebo and Fireman. You guys are truly awesome, you even delivered it to my house. You can't imagine how much I really appreciate the help. I got home by 4:30 or so today, threw a motor on the old girl, (the K91 runs awesome Cas, thanks much!) hooked up a throttle cable and away I went, cruising merrily down the street with a huge smile on my face and not a care in the world. I really needed that, I had a real crappy day at work! This RJ is incredibly tight and everything works fantastic, I couldn't be happier. No tractor I have ever owned can compare to how cool it is too ride the 551 or the RJ 58. It was well worth the wait. I have but a very small garage and I keep one of my cars in there as well. I've been keeping my tractors out in the tent. I'm making room in my garage by getting rid of some things I really don't use too keep my 702, the 551 and the RJ 58 inside. They deserve it! I'll be pulling things apart on the old girl very soon to do a total restoration. Thanks again guys.

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,532 #4 Posted March 12, 2010 Ken, When you said that you got home and threw the motor on you meant it. I was there at about 5;30 to drop off the belt guard and you had already been out riding it I love selling/trading tractors with you cuase I know you will do a nice job on them. I can't wait to see your progress on this one. Do I sense there will be 2 58 RJ's in the area with red wheels??

DaveB 0 #8 Posted March 12, 2010 The RJ is Sweet. I've always said that you move fast. I knew something was cooking on the burner. Over the years I've seen your worker restos to full blown total restos. That RJ is in for a treat if it's getting the full blown recipe.

Coadster32 793 #15 Posted March 12, 2010 No messing around I guess. Riding in a few hours, really cool. Yes, it makes a bad day turn good really quick. I'll take my kids for a ride after a crappy day, and it all seems to go away. B)

grnlark 489 #17 Posted March 12, 2010 I'll admit - I've randomly walked out to the garage on several occassions, turned on the lights and just looked at the RJ58 I bought from Steve and Jeff. It puts a smile on my face too. Then I turn the lights off and go back in the house. My wife thinks I'm crazy. B)
