WHwest8597 85 #1 Posted March 11, 2010 I have my 1997 314-8 apart and was looking for suggestions on cleaning everything before putting it back together. barns1 57 #12 Posted March 16, 2010 Simple Green works great as does Dawn dish detergent. I mix the Dawn up in a spray bottle with the hottest water I can. Spray the real greasy areas several times. stevasaurus 23,276 #13 Posted March 16, 2010 I like using Mineral Spirits..no residue, cuts grime right now, and rinses off with a garden hose. You can buy in quarts or by the gallon.
