Four inches is just about the right amount to have fun plowing. Nice looking setup there.

The last of the snow could be behind us at this point (near Chicago.) Then again, maybe not. B) We have rain in the forecast and highs early next week expected to be 53F (12C)

Thanks for the compliments Guys, it is a great horse with lots of power. It has no problem pushing that snow around .The blade seems to work better than the snowblower overhere. temperature is usually around 32 F or a little under. Makes the snow a little Heavier. Temperatures are around 40 F during the day and around 25 F at night.

The blade seems to work better than the snowblower over here.

I think it must be that Eurosnow. B)

Just kidding of course. They each have their place. I use a 48" blade myself and it has always met my needs here near Chicago. However we usually don't get more than 6-8" of snow. I see more used snow blowers for sale further north where their snow is measured in feet rather than inches. When the snow gets too deep to push around with a blade, the snow blowers will do the job.

I like using the blade because I can plow at full speed. I don't think that can be done with a snow blower.

best,

hank
