redhorse56 0 #1 Posted March 3, 2010 First time user. I just bought a single stage snowblower model 6-1212 , it has been sitting for 30 yrs. it's in great shape , don't know what it came off of. when i put it on my C-160 it would not hook up to the tact a matic , plus it seems the frame is longer then most blowers. I got the blower to fit and to make the belt work and it works great , but need to know what i need to do to make it fit correctly.
MikesRJ 558 #2 Posted March 3, 2010 6-1212? A 6-1211 perhaps? Never heard of a "1212". Re-check your model number. I think you may be mistaken. 6-1211 Manual: http://www.mywheelhorse.com/graphics/file/...erly_ST-376.pdf If it is a 6-1211, then you have a 37" Snow Thrower (aka ST-376) originally made for the 1057, 1067, 1077, 1257, 1267, 1277 If used on 1276, 1056, 1076 it requires kit 83112, or requires 83112, except part 1-7235 on the Raider 9 and 12, Charger 9 and 12, and Electro 12 Not sure if that will work on a C-160 without customizing the mount, and perhaps the drive shaft and tensioner pulleys. I'm sure someone else here can be of more help. Good luck. and ... B)
redhorse56 0 #3 Posted March 3, 2010 Doubled check model # it is 6-1212 serial # 755400. I did have to bolt to tractor frame. Only problem i have is i can not left it very high because it hits the hingr bolts for the hood. Thanks for the info, Chuck
redhorse56 0 #4 Posted March 3, 2010 Made a mistake on model it's a 6-6212, can't read upside down Thanks again, Chuck
TT-(Moderator) 1,162 #5 Posted March 3, 2010 That's an early 70's (pre-Attach-Matic) thrower and I suspect it has the 6-9112 completing kit. (the mounting frame that attaches it to the tractor, etc.) If you want it to work correctly on your C, you'll either need a newer mounting frame for use with the Attach-Matic front hitch, or you will have to modify the current mounting frame. This is how it should mount so it lifts without hitting the hood hinges, etc.

redhorse56 0 #8 Posted March 4, 2010 Its me again, the same guy i bought snowblower from has a wheelhosre cab that also has been setting for 30 years its in great shape except for some bb holes in the front windshield. my question is the windshield replaceable and how much is it worth? P.S. canvas is not rotted at all and is there numbers on it somewhereand how would it mount on tractor Thanks to all for the help, Chuck
Operator 7 #9 Posted March 4, 2010 The cab "should" have numbers inside of roof up above your left shoulder' The windshield is no longer available, I've checked with Origional Cab Co. so I had to have a new one sewed in at a boat canvas place. Going price on the cabs? around $150.00 +- Randy
