rmaynard 16,293 #2 Posted February 20, 2010 Let me give you this to think about: "The value of a restored Wheel Horse tractor is entirely dependent upon the moods of the buyer and seller at the time of the transaction." Bob
tgranthamfd 29 #3 Posted February 20, 2010 After seeing what the WH seat went for on ebay, I'd like to know what some of you think your like new/restored WH's are worth now. Just curious..... Worth is all in the eyes of the owner. I bought, what was there, of my Suburban 400 for $100.00, I am not finished, as of yet, and I have , in the neighborhood, of $1000.00 to $1400.00 invested. Which I could never get that much out of. Guess it all depends on how deep of a restore one wants to do.

catman81056 3 #6 Posted February 21, 2010 There is a huge differene between a tracto thats been "restored" and one thats just been painted. IMO, a restored tractor has been dismantled down to nothing and anything thats out of spec gets replaced with OEM or equivalent parts. Thats why some of those eBay auctions bring big dollars. Just my .o2.
rickv1957 74 #7 Posted February 21, 2010 The value of a Wheelhorse when restored or new is more than not higher than most buyers will give for them in this modern day and the wheelhorse is such a quality machine compared to todays standards,Rick B)
wheelhorsec85 5 #8 Posted February 21, 2010 there isnt a thing in this world that has a value , till you find the buyer willing to spend the money to have it . then i suppose that was its value . B)
VinsRJ 723 #9 Posted February 21, 2010 There are values for restored tractors..... you have to be realistic in your asking prices.
