I have these hub-caps with the horse logo that i got off of ebay..,and now i need to figure out how to remove a couple of small dents in them. they are going to get re-chromed after the dents are fixed.......but has anyone ever done this....?

remove the dents, or is there a way to fill them with copper or lead? B)

If your going to rechrome them, you can hammer and dolly them, using body tools, then you can use a body file to smooth them out, then sand them smooth they will need to prefect or any mark on them will show up, you might take them to a body shop and have them work the dents out, also the old chrome will have to be stripped the plater will do that but you might have them do that then take them back home to do the repairs, some chrome shops will fix the dents and any pits also but cost more, but they know how to make them nice, it's there job.

by the way don't be shocked if it cost $100+ for a good chrome job

Thanks for the advice...I'm pretty good working with my hands, i'm going to try what you said about the dolly and hammer....I think eastwood has some..

and might as well have them in the tool box for future purposes. B)

Be very gentle in removing the dents as you can overdo it and stretch the metal, B) Rick
