Wheelbearing 49 #1 Posted February 16, 2010 Hey guys just got back tonight with this 42" mower deck from upstate Mass. I payed $100 for it. I think its work it since theres no holes in the frame and the spin free. I'll definatly redo it but my question is what is a close model # for this thing so i can get parts for it. Maybe new spindle housings bearings and the attaching wash down coupler.

stevebo-(Moderator) 8,527 #3 Posted February 16, 2010 You may have problems with the wide rear tires rubbing the wheels on the deck. I think you need a 48 inch deck ....I know it will looks perfect when you are done B)

Wheelbearing 49 #6 Posted February 16, 2010 Its a 42 with the tape. Well steve I can always restore it and trade up. And I did find a nickle size hole by the height adjustment but I can make that like new. Thanks for the info guys.
Wheelbearing 49 #7 Posted February 16, 2010 Yup Steves right 42 Won't fit on a 520-h because of the 10.5 wide tires. So heres one I'm going to restore and sell or trade towards a 48"
Don1977 605 #8 Posted February 16, 2010 Now you can go out and buy another tractor for the new deck! B)

nylyon-(Admin) 7,880 #10 Posted February 17, 2010 In the 2004 300/400/500 sales brochure it shows the 42" Rear Discharge as available for the 520, but not a 42" Side Discharge. So I am assuming that you can trade your side for a rear in the 42" size and it should work.
